Sarah Jayne is a modern and open-minded Manchester celebrant. She is also an award-winning TV director and vision mixer. Indeed, she has nearly 15 years of experience with ITV and BBC.
In 2018, Sarah Jayne decided it was time for a career change. Wanting something in which she could help others and work around family life, Sarah Jayne retrained with the Fellowship of Celebrants and was hooked. She now gives brides and grooms their cues and broadcasts to more intimate audiences, in barns, hotels and tepees. She also performs ceremonies in a home setting. Sarah Jayne’s goal is to encourage clients to think outside of the box and to make their special occasion truly their own.
For those interested in the impressive pedigree of this Manchester celebrant, rest assured that Sarah Jayne knows a thing or two about broadcasting. She has worked on regional news, network sport and major programmes such as the Commonwealth Games, Match of the Day Extra and Wimbledon Sportsday. She was also the director who launched BBC Sport’s first news bulletins since moving to Media City in Salford. Enough said.
