The Venue: An Ashfield House Wedding
At How to I Do, we’re all about using local independent businesses at your wedding. Ashfield House is a privately owned, warm and welcoming wedding venue in Standish. At Ashfield House, couples will easily spot the wow factor from its period features and sense of grandeur.
As well as beautiful interiors, the house also boasts breathtaking gardens. These offer an abundance of incredible photo opportunities as well as the perfect spot for canapés and cocktails on the lawn. What’s not to love?!
Both of these beautiful brides donned Mark Lesley Bridal gowns supplied by The Wedding Studio Northwich. Both are fitted with a fishtail flair, an elegant low back and intricate lace detailing. Divine!
Hair, Makeup and Accessories!
Makeup was by the talented Abby Victoria who enhanced the looks of these beautiful brides with a number of different styles.
Abby created a soft, romantic look for bride Naomi. Golden tones really are a great way to ensure bright blue eyes stand out and get noticed! The soft rose blush and nude lip keeps things ‘natural’ and ensures the focus is on those gorgeous blue eyes!
For India, Abby again created a golden glow; however with the use of two different shades of lipstick, she ably demonstrated how brides can very easily take their look from day to night.
Our fabulous Charlotte Medford Bridal worked her magic on these ladies’ luscious locks. Charlotte has recently added a carefully curated selection of statement headpieces to her bridal hair service. This allows brides to experiment with different hairstyles and accessories during their hair trial, and go on to hire them from Charlotte for their big day. This gal really does have the whole package!
Back to hair… So to show off her new ‘bling’, Charlotte created an array of glamorous looks for Naomi and India. We’ll let the pictures do the talking!
Eleni and Emma from Inspired Events Manchester added a bit of extra enchantment with some simple yet elegant décor. This included large blossom trees, numerous candles and faux greenery.
Their piece de resistance was undoubtedly the oversized arch covered in foliage. This makes for a perfect backdrop for photographs, the ceremony or the top table to name a few options.House of Cheshire took care of all things floral creating some understated bouquets and adding some finishing touches to the venue and cake.
The Wedding Stationery!
The Wedding Cake!
Pretty Princess Cakes were responsible for this stylish and delectable cake. They created this show-stopping, right on trend, naked, ‘drip’ cake. We hear it tasted as good as it looks!
When The Alchemist rocks up at your Ashfield House wedding you know you’re going to be in for a treat (of the cocktail variety!) They’ve made their art of mixology mobile with their statement cocktail van – The Alchemistress! She’s equipped with her own team of mixology maestros and available to hire!
So be sure to add a touch of molecular magic to your big day with its carefully crafted selection of cocktail and mocktail concoctions!
Emma Ryan nipped across the border from Yorkshire to snap these dreamy shots. We hear that there was nothing that she wouldn’t do for the perfect picture and wasn’t afraid to take on a lavender bush or two! Total pro!
Together with our Creative Shoot Director Charlotte Medford Bridal, we hope we’ve provided you with plenty of inspiration and vision as to how wonderful an Ashfield House wedding can be.
